- We review creditor claims for legality (immorality, statute of limitations, etc.) and take appropriate action against unlawful claims!
- We negotiate with creditors and their representatives (lawyers, collection agencies) with the goal of debt relief.
- We advise on how to deal with impending enforcement measures, seizures, visits from bailiffs, etc.
- We examine whether debt discharge under the Insolvency Code is possible for you.
- We provide advice on setting up a protected account (P-account).
- We assist with household budgeting.
Costs
As a recognized debtor and insolvency counseling service pursuant to § 305 para. 1 no. 1 of the Insolvency Code, the association Solidarische Hilfe e.V. is one of the largest providers of social debtor counseling as well as debtor and insolvency counseling centers in Bremen. Solidarische Hilfe e.V. is a registered association and recognized by the Bremen-Mitte tax office as charitable and benevolent.
The association operates professionally and without profit motive.
The initial consultation is always free of charge and, of course, treated confidentially.In most cases, the further counseling costs will be covered by a social benefits provider. We inform you about the current situation and possibilities.
- Recipients of Unemployment Benefit II (Hartz IV)
- Recipients of Unemployment Benefit I
- Employees with low income
- Recipients of basic security (SGB XII)
In addition, the city of Bremen provides a flat rate as a voluntary service for selected counseling centers for the free counseling of employees and unemployment benefit I recipients with low income. We are one of these counseling centers
